Consult our experts. We are happy to support you.
The German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) implemented a national certification scheme called the NESAS-CCS-GI, which is based on the GSMA NESAS and similarly aims to strengthen the level of security in 5G and LTE networks by following established best practices and schemes that provide security assurance. A successful evaluation results in a certificate issued by BSI that is applicable to components of critical telecommunication infrastructures in Germany, as specified in the German guidelines TR-03163.
What atsec offers:
atsec is an approved laboratory under NESAS-CCS-GI, able to perform SCAS testing for all security-relevant 5G components.
Our NESAS-CCS-GI portfolio encompasses the following services:
- A readiness assessment to help you estimate the level of effort required for your product to comply with NESAS requirements
- Testing of network products according to applicable SCASes in NESAS-CCS-GI
- Education and training for vendors and telecommunication operators on the topic of NESAS security audits
Why our services are important to you:
This national certification scheme for 5G mobile network equipment allows equipment vendors to demonstrate compliance with required security features through an IT security certificate.
